El Molino SPORTS
INTEGRATED ATHLETICS: El Molino is renowned for its integrated approach to athletics, which links (1) each team with all other teams, (2) sports with academics, and (3) El Molino athletes with middle-school students. El Molino athletes are encouraged to play multiple sports, and coaches meet to coordinate goals and workouts; athletes attend tutoring sessions, and coaches track grades; athletes visit middle schools, and coaches put on youth clinics. El Molino athletes are not just part of one team but members of a whole sports program, where they enjoy playing time and one-on-one coaching. Contact Athletic Director Mike Roan for more information.
(Coed mountain biking is a club sport in the spring.)

The El Molino Culinary Arts Program is part of the Career, Technical and Education department focusing on students to be career ready after high school.
The program prepares students in the Hospitality, tourism, and recreation industry. Several El Molino graduates are currently Pastry Chefs, Executive Chefs, hotel managers, travel agents and tasting room managers.
There are several local business and community programs that help support El Molino Culinary Arts, were they help focus on making noncollege bound students ready for the work force after high school.
El Molinio's Dance Department and Dance Company, under the direction of teacher Jolene Johnson, offers students a comprehensive program that includes intensive dance training in jazz, modern, ballet, hip-hop, choreography and performance techniques. Three full-scale dance productions are presented yearly and student choreographers take on leadership roles as they teach their choreography and prepare their peers for performance. El Molino is extremely proud of its dance company, EMDC, which performs in many venues including the El Molino dance productions, the North Bay Dance Festival, and the acclaimed Vision Series Dance Festival that takes place yearly at the Cowell Theater in San Francisco.
The agriculture program at El Molino features a broad range of farming and ranching classes under the leadership of teacher Marilee Mazur. Students learn viticulture, environmental science, plant and animal science, agriscience, ag leadership and the business of farming. Thanks to El Molino's large campus, agriculture students grow and harvest an acre of grapes on site, they raise and show farm animals, they grow crops, and they participate in scores of ag events every year. They also join culinary and environmental science students in a Farm-to-Table program that features food grown, harvested, prepared, cooked and served by El Molino teens.
